Both Rachel and Dr Howell have health care qualifications and are all bound by the same laws surrounding confidentiality and privacy. Rachel Mansfield – Practice Manager

Rachel is your first point of contact at Sydney Olympic Park GP and is the reason our appointment system runs on time. Rachel is a qualified Medical Practice Assistant and able to provide first aid and perform observations such as blood pressures and ECGs.

Rachel is the voice on the end of our phone and is responsible for organising our appointments to ensure we can give you sufficient time to focus on all your health complaints whilst also keeping our appointments running on time.

Rachel also has multiple qualifications in Business, Business Management and Practice Management and is a highly experienced Practice Manager having come to Sydney Olympic Park GP from a position managing a large group of GP and Specialist practices. She is your point of contact for any queries about billing, medical records or administration.

Hailing from Adelaide she has brought an unusual enthusiasm for AFL to Sydney. She is a local resident and a supporter of The Giants as well as the Sydney Thunder in the BBL.

Dr Ben Howell – GP

Dr Ben Howell is the GP and practice owner at Sydney Olympic Park GP.

Ben’s passion is the delivery of up-to-date, evidence-based , long-term medical care. He was a Registered Nurse before switching to medicine and also has a degree in Psychology and experience as a counsellor. Ben believes that excellent communication skills are fundamental to explaining medicine’s complexity and assisting you make choices that best suit your health goals.

Ben graduated his Medical degree at Sydney University in 2006. Prior to becoming a General Practitioner he completed his Internship and Residency at Concord Repatriation General Hospital, and gained further experience in Concord’s Physician Training Program.

Ben is married and father of two. He was born in Sydney and raised in Pennant Hills. He is a life-long supporter, and current member, of the Parramatta Eels and firmly believes that we will win the Premiership … next year.
